Pay Pal

By on July 9, 2010

Am I the only one having problems with PayPal? MY account has been limited for a while and I don’t know why. I’ve done everything PayPal asks but I’m still limited. The only information I get is that my account MAY have been accessed by someone else.

Oh, limited means you can’t do anything except pay your PayPal bill. No I’m no maxed out on PP credit and yes I pay my bill on time.

I know you shouldn’t speak ill of any one or anything on the internet because it may come back to bite you. I still think PayPal provides a valuable service but they suck in customer service.

Yes, Im pissed!

Update edit: WooHoo!! My account is finally fixed! It took about 3 months but I’m OK now!

Works fine by me. I have it linked to my bank account for deposits if I get cash and have a verified non-paypal credit card attached so if I buy something it charges my card instead of going to my bank. They do have crap customer service though.

    Hi there, nope.

We are going through the same thing. It is beyond irritating. It’s not like were selling things for the pure fun of it. We would like the money…

We sent two requested documents and than they wanted more. Nice!

    Good Luck.

Been there and done that. After 3 months, and my blog post, my problem was fixed. I don’t know if someone saw the blog but everything was taken care of.

I would just ring them like Susan suggested you would probably get it solved there and then.

    Good luck

I went through something similar and found the PayPal people very easy to work with and very helpful. They cleared the problem up really fast — but I had to get them on the phone to do it, too. Try that.

I’ve never had a problem but would be pretty ticked off too. Hope you can get is resolved quickly. Someone MAY have hacked your account? I’d want an explanation on that one. Hope you get it.

Hmmm, Well if it were me, I would ask them to close the account and open a new one, but that may open a whole new can of worms. Sorry I couldn’t give you better advice 🙁 Good luck to ya!

Hey there! Have you attached a credit card or a checking account to your Pay Pal account? You need to do this in order to get it “un” limited. This way, if you use it to pay for stuff, you can guarantee it with your credit card or Checking account. They will auto debit whichever type of account you attach to it. It’s easy and they verify it. It is safe. I’ve had it this way for years. 🙂 Good luck!

Been there, done that a long time ago. I’ve had been a member for several years with no problem. They have my bank account number plus I have PayPal credit. I’ve paid my bills on time. I went thru the phone number verifying, etc. Because my account has been “limited” I can’t close it, add or delete credit cards or anything else. Except send PayPal money as a direct debit from my checking account. The only thing they say is that my account MAY have been accessed by someone else.
